This paddle is suitable for all skill levels. The distance traveled is approximately 3 miles roundtrip.

The fee for this paddle is $65/per person and includes the use of a sit-on kayak, all needed equipment (i.e., paddle, personal floatation device (PFD), glow sticks and guide. While tips are greatly appreciated, they are not required.

Next Rocket Launch Paddle

Want notice of upcoming rocket launch paddles? Click here.

You have never seen a rocket blast-off like you will on this very special paddle.

There is nothing quite like it on Earth. Watching a rocket launch from the closest public viewing just a few miles/kilometers away provides a unique perspective on the technology and power required to send spacecraft into Earth’s orbit and beyond. The countdown to liftoff begins with the flash of fire as the rocket engines ignite. Seconds later, the rocket soars overhead and the delayed rumble of the engines becomes a roar that vibrates through the landscape and to the viewers as they feel the effects.Kennedy Space Center

Launching from a local park just to the south of the Kennedy Space Center complex, we paddle up the Indian River Lagoon to watch the launch with an unrestricted view. From our advantage point, you can often feel the shock wave created by the rocket as it lifts off -- yet you’re far from the crowds. These are truly rock-your-world unique experiences.

This paddle is suitable for all skills levels. The distance traveled is approximately 5 miles roundtrip.

The fee for this paddle is $85 per person and includes the use of a super-stable sit-on-top kayak, all needed equipment (i.e., paddle, Coast Guard approved personal floatation device (PFD),glow sticks(if necessary) and a guide.  While tips are greatly appreciated, they are not required.

A SPECIAL NOTE ON REFUNDS FOR THIS EVENT.  Rocket launches are "rocket science." Things go wrong and the launch is often rescheduled or even sometimes "scrubbed" entirely.  In the event of a reschedule all tickets will remain valid for the new date, or refunds will be given if you are unable to attend on the new date.  Unfortunately, once the tour has begun, and our boats are launched, there will be no refunds.

What to Bring
Water, a headlamp, insect repellent your lucky charm, patience and plenty of energy!
